Saigon SunBay to Go to school with student 2011

On the occasion of the new school year 2011 – 2012 ahead ,on August 22, 2011, Can Gio Tourist City Corporation (CTC) offered 445 prizes for the pupils of Doi Lau Primary School and Doi Lau Secondary School at An Thoi Dong village, Can Gio district, HCMC. Attending the event were representatives of Can Gio People’s Committee and the village’s National Liberation Front, leaders of the two schools and the labor union leaders from Saigon Tourist Holdings along with the whole staff of CTC.

According to the principal of Doi Lau primary school, 50% of Doi Lau Primary School’s pupils’ living standards are now under Poverty – alleviation level. By that reason, the school annually assists the pupils by giving books to help the parents and families feel relieved on living and getting their children to school. Until now, 3 schools of Doi Lau village including Primary School, Secondary Schools and Pre-School are all gathered in the same venue which makes it difficult to set appropriate schedule for sport and teamwork activities.

Through the event, CTC wishes to bring a practical gift for every student of the schools. Each of 445 pupils received a prize of 10 notebooks and one school bag to start a very brilliant new year ahead.
